Starting in January 2017, this year long series of monthly meet ups will explore living more closely with the land, putting down roots and in particular, looking at skills to help you live more comfortably off grid. We will cover aspects such as food growing; permaculture techniques, natural bee keeping, forest gardens and wild food foraging, not just on your land but how to be custodians of the natural environment. We will also look at compost toilets and humanure, outdoor kitchens and sustainable fuel supplies, natural building techniques, reducing waste.
